Administration Times for a Prescription

Administration Times or Admin Times are specific hours of the day that a medication should be taken (e.g., 08:00, 12:00, 16:00, 20:00). In contrast, Passtimes reflect intervals in a day (e.g., Breakfast, Noon, Evening, Bedtime) that a medication should be taken and are not specific times. Admin Times can be entered in lieu of Passtimes for a prescription when you need to:

Package a prescription using a non-retail packager

Generate Compliance reports

Generate MAR or TAR reports
Admin Times must be entered in the proper format to be consumed by a non-retail packager and appear in the proper slots in compliance packages and reports.
